Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 2026

Transparency matters to us, so here's the straightforward version of how Toperic makes money:

Affiliate relationships

Some links on this website are affiliate links. That means if you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. We participate, or intend to participate, in affiliate programs including the Amazon Associates Program and other outdoor retail affiliate programs, as well as individual brands' own affiliate programs.

What this doesn't change

• Our guides and rankings are based on our editorial evaluation. Commissions do not buy positive coverage.
• We list concrete pros and cons for every product we cover, including products we have affiliate relationships with.
• Prices and offers change; we describe pricing in general terms and encourage you to verify current pricing on the vendor's official site or retailer page before purchasing.

FTC compliance

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements, we disclose our affiliate relationships clearly on pages containing affiliate links.
